12 contestants from 7 states to compete for Miss Chinatown USA 2022


(SAN FRANCISCO) 12 contestants from seven states in the nation will compete for the Miss Chinatown USA title on February 12 in San Francisco.
The annual Miss Chinatown USA Pageant began in 1958 as part of the Lunar New Year celebration hosted by San Francisco Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
Due to the pandemic, the Pageant was cancelled last year. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce continues the tradition this year to host the Miss Chinatown USA Pageant to select the top winners of the contestants to play their roles as community ambassadors.
The competitions and the coronation Ball will be held on the same day, Feb. 12, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Embarcadero Center.
The 12 contestants are Anita Chen of San Jose, Megan Chiu of Chicago, Vanessa Guo of Boston, Melody Jie of San Jose, Crystal Lee of Castro Valley, Vanessa Lee of Bellevue in Washington State, Kaylee Lin of Honolulu, Jamie Moy of McKinley Park in Illinois, Yvonne Qiu of Berkeley, Kimberly Tom of Foster City, Joyce Wang of Flushing in New York and Noel Yang of Sugar Land in Texas.
