(SAN FRANCISCO) Michael O'Connell is a journalist, author, college professor, the co-founder and producer of It's All Journalism, a media-focused podcast to interview journalists across the country. The incoming 2022 will mark the tenth anniversary of the podcast program.
When a person has dedicated more than three decades of her life to serving her community through journalism, it’s hard to consider doing anything else.
2020 is an unprecedented year for all of us, also for me. I lost my job as did many Americans in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was forced to leave the job that I enjoyed and dedicated to serving the community as a journalist for over 30 years.
