(SAN FRANCISCO)The annual red-envelope Zodiac Wall at Jack Kerouac Alley, between Grant Avenue and Broadway, is back in San Francisco Chinatown to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Nancy Yu Law and Yuk Tong Law, owners of the AisaStar which is located next to the alley, launched the Zodiac Wall project in 2016. This is the 7th annual Zodiac Wall initiated and designed by the Law family with volunteers helping out to stick the red envelopes to the wall.
The theme of this year’s wall is “Strong” following “Healthy” last year. The wall made by thousands of red envelopes has become a popular photographing spot for many tourists coming to visit Chinatown.
