26th Annual Chinatown Community Health Fair to be held on 10/16
(SAN FRANCISCO) The 26th annual Chinatown Community Health Fair will take place on October 16, Saturday, in Chinatown YMCA. Participants will receive COVID-19 testing and vaccination, influenza vaccination and more free health care service in the event.
"Health, Safety, Wellness - Beyond COVID" is the theme of the 26th annual health fair for the Chinese community. Asian Women’s Resource Center and NICOS Chinese Health Coalition are the co-host of the event which is sponsored by a number of healthcare organizations. The event will be held in Chinatown YMCA from 10am to 3pm on October 16.
This year's health fair will highlight the importance of health, wellness and safety beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the COVID-19 testing and vaccination, participants can also get their influenza shots, blood glucose test, teeth inspection and more free service on site.
Free online workshops will be offered for the event. Anyone who is interested in joining the workshop can call Asian Women's Resource Center at 415-788-1008 .
