The winner of “I Voted!” sticker design contest announced

(SAN FRANCISCO) San Franciscans have selected a new "I Voted!" sticker by voting online and in person at the Department of Elections. The winner is Hollie C with a design to draw a number of the famous San Francisco landmarks and icons in the sticker.
Nine finalists out of 501 submissions were selected by a panel from the San Francisco Department of Elections to compete for the winners of the “I Voted!” sticker design contest. The top one winning sticker would be distributed to voters starting the elections in 2024.
The winning design was determined by the members of the public who went online or in person to vote for their favorite sticker artwork. In addition to the 9 finalist's artwork, the current sticker which has been used by the Department of Elections for years was also on the list for votes by the San Francisco residents.
The public could choose their favorite design from October 11 to October 17. The results were announced on October 26 in City Hall. The Department of Elections has posted the results on its website.
The results have showed that a total of 9331 selections were made to choose the winning design among 10 stickers from the finalists.
The artwork designed by Hollis C. won with an overwhelming 3,174 votes, the second place winner, Alice L., followed with 1,247 votes.
The Department of Elections will start distributing the winning sticker to over 500,000 vote-by-mail ballot packets and hand them out to in-person voters at the City Hall Voting Center as well as the polling places citywide on each election day for the March and November Presidential elections in 2024.
In 2024, the Department of Elections will host a “Future Voter” sticker contest which will be open to local K-12 students to participate and compete.
